I've done this mod so I can share my experience..
235i M performance exhaust will not line up with your mid-pipe and is also a different diameter so you will need to get an exhaust shop to connect them. The right handside hanger is a tad short so it is recommended that you get it extended slightly so there is no tension. Other than those points, a new diffuser and you're good to go

yeah looks and sounds better imo, gives you a good bang on the upshifts and burbles when letting off throttle

But after watching videos of their exhaust on other N20 (328/428) i don't even think it sounds as aggressive as MPE and MPE isn't even the loudest option? :/ (there was no burbles and bangs) Should i just got MPE looks to be way cheaper too lol. |

Here's the Link! Also OP, AWE coming out with one for 228 would sound just like the one in the video considering same N20 |

I also did the m235i exhaust to 228i conversion. Not much was needed to make it work. Get compliments on the exhaust note and looks way better IMO so I'm happy.

Most of our customer got the Active Autowerke F30 328 exhaust and put it on the 228
It fits easily and sounds great

I don't understand why companies don't understand this lol... People that are going to buy a 228 and go through an exhaust are those that're gonna be doing mods... Cant see any diffuser for 2ers that compliment normal exhaust exits |
