Dinan HP Numbers
I was reading Dinan's press release on their website about their software upgrade for the 335i. I was interested enough in their HP claims, but what really stood out was their comparison to stock. Their chart shows that the 335i stock has 332 HP at the flywheel, and 333 lb-ft of torque! I guess the power was underrated by BMW after all.
Here's the chart. |

Those are some impressive numbers.
Especially the fack that the dinan seems to get the more power at EVERY rpm. Seems like usually turbo cars with aftermarket chips give more power but create a big delay in deliver. Seems like dinan does it all! and warranty! |

Just put Dinan 'software' in my 335i E93. Absolutely stunning performance! Zero defects. $2350 out the door, with labor and 6% sales tax.
C2 Designs in Tampa did the work and were great to work with. Chris Chapas has had his shop for 12 years, shop is spotless; 2 other techs (Chris: "I keep the staff small to keep the quality at top level"). Install took an hour plus test drive. Chris worked me in on two hours notice. C2 Design is the 2nd biggest Dinan shop in the country, does a wide range of work, and is the only location in Florida that can do '08 Dinan software installs on location, no need to ship the ECU. |

2350 for the same amount of power as a JBS2, I don't even use the product, but it takes 10 minutes to install and un-install it. Besides that it costs what BMW charges for 2 hours of labor. Gimme a break.

I mean I would have to say Vishnu is by far the most advanced system on the market and they charge 1000 less for a product that puts down more HP and TQ. Why would you get a Dinan tune, besides the reason being that you are simply being a lemming and choose not to educate yourself on the options you have regarding N54 Tuning.

If at work I have to create a S/W or systems to manipulate another S/W or systems instead of fixing the latter, I'll get fired. If you don't understand the analogy please educate yourself on how piggyback works. DISCLAIMER: I am not saying DINAN is the best or Procede is not good. |

I'm still waiting to hear from the first person to blow his/her engine with a non Dinan tune and how it flys at the dealer/BMW. I still can't believe that BMW doesn't monitor the pressure in the intake.

10 minutes to install or un-install a JB2? More like an hour and ten minutes.
