So I've been interested in the Autoplus diffuser for a while, but direct group buys suffer from one issue, shipping. Autoplus is in Japan, and they will usually do free shipping for 4 orders, but to one address. Less than 4 orders and they will ship to individual addresses for $320 each! Most of the time the people who are interested seem to be out west, and then you still have to deal with shipping across the country. It would be a lot easier if there were some folks in the area interested to do local pickup or short distance shipping.

I haven't contacted them yet. First trying to get a feel if it's even worth the effort. Anyone interested?

The purpose of posting it here was to get a feel for local interest because of the shipping issues. Others have organized these group buys in the broader forums, but the interest is usually West Coast heavy, so you have to rely on someone else shipping it across the US. Group buys aren't difficult to organize if there is sufficient interest, but I don't really want to be part of a national group buy for something this pricey.

If you're interested you should start one. I've sort of moved on from this for a few reasons.
