Still looks like a 20k car in person with an even cheaper interior

This can be seen with the Mustang, 5.0 V8 at £34k.. BMW are made to look expensive, so getting into to your £45k premium car, can be a bit of a shock on how standard things are. Interior of a 320i being pretty much exactly the same as a 335d / 340i. So yes, BOM price for a BMW is far higher, I just don't think you get the interior to match the 'premium' common as fuck brand. Audi and Mercedes manage it and interior wise make BMW look erm rather Ford like. |

You do get more kit as standard on a ford as opposed to a BMW - was shocked by the kit that came as standard on Fat Kid 1's focus ST3 or more to the point what didn't on my 3 but the BMW does feel like it's screwed together better.
Incidentally heard there's quite a long waiting list for the RS and that they also hold their value quite well as well .....

The other bit is you won't see many RS, however F30 saloons, fuck me, they are like fleas on a rat. An average morning driving to work, how many F30 do you see? As for E90, around here it's the Chav car of choice, with some of early F30 joining them. BMW are great cars, just not the be all and end all. What BMW 4 cylinder petrol in the RS price bracket would drive better? |

Wow chill your boots brigand lol almost too defensive..I don't see what was said that isn't true :/
The ford performance/handling wise for the class is the one to beat no doubt if that is all your after. But that's as far as it goes for me. I'm with the other guy. Good car though. Ps. Definitely agree the interior is worst of the German brands mentioned however I prefer the way the beemer steers. Non bias, honest Last edited by takumichinoku; 03-12-2016 at 10:45 PM.. |

I guess it's a fanboy thing. When we get Audi quality interiors, things like folding mirrors, folding seats in the saloon, actual storage space other than cup holders, then yeah, admittedly dropping the halogens was a nice start. As for the Chav factor of the BMW 3 series, if someone has not noticed that, have a look around next time. |

I think it sounds great, and looks to be a great drive too. But it's just not for me, still think I'd go m135i if I was in the market for a hatch, but having said that - I've really gone off the 1er recently - maybe I'm just getting too old ! Lol

Talking of the RS models only. I bet residuals will be strong.
