Adjustable endlinks

Just lowered my car and thinking about adding adjustable endlinks.
Is there a brand that you all recommend that's not overpriced and does the job? Looking to buy ASAP.

So far I have m3 front control arms, new tie rod, new coilovers with camber plates..
I believe my next step would be rear m3 control arms, LSD, and rear subframe bushing... And I believe those are to be done together since they are a project of itself...

Any recommendation please let me know.

ECS sells the Hotchkiss adjustable endlinks - these are the ones that I am using.

Why are you wanting adjustable links?

Do you know the purpose of adjustable links?

If you don't, I don't see why you need them....

They will just make noise on a street driven car.

What he says.

I removed mine because they started "talking" every time I hit a pothole or entered a driveway.

Adjustable endlinks help reduce body roll. My goal is to do a 4 corner balancing and to do it right, Endlinks will help improve the cornering.

I understand if I don't track my car it's not needed, but it's not expensive, does anyone else experiencing noise from the endlink?

Because as you lower you car the geometry of the sway changes. If you don't lengthen your endlinks after lowering you are causing there go be a possibility of preload if both sides aren't dropped exactly on coils. Also, it causes the sway to rotate and be out of parallel with where it lines up in reference to the axle.

Buying a standard longer endlink can help but with coil owners there can be a big range that they may lower.

I AM well aware of the purpose of adjustable links.....

I was asking the OP because on a street car, you don't need them.

I've been running stock end links on my xi since 2010 with ABSOLUTELY NO issues. I'm on the lowest setting my H&R coilovers can go.

If you're trying to fine tune your suspension for the track, ok. But for street use when the driver does not know the purpose of the product, why install it?!

There are good and bad end link designs. The good designs boot their rod ends to protect the bearings from dirt. If left unprotected, the dirt will accelerate wear through the bearing races and cause play, resulting in noise. Booting them extends the life a bit but eventually, they will make noise. The OEM end links last quite a bit longer than aftermarket in terms of keeping noise down.

I would add that the oem links have adequate width on the inside nut to make removal and install easy on the strut side. Some aftermarkets such as Meyle and Whiteline are very narrow, making it hard to get a wrench on them without stressing the grease boot.

I tried adjustables but gave up on them due to the noise issue. now running lemforder oem links.

I installed kw1 coilovers on my e90 xdrive then 3 weeks later a popping sound everytime I turn the wheel towards the right. I was told by another member here I had to replace my end links so I checked and shure enough it was shot from the load I guess.. He said I had to get longer ones so I bought adjustable end links from Turner they arrived today just waiting on a nice day to install

We offer the hotchkis and it's a good alternative to other options.

They have nothing to do with controlling roll. They simply maintain geometry if the cat is substantially lowered.
