Wood dash trim kit for around climate controls?

I'd like to add wood trim to the center dash (between the center vents down around the climate and audio controls).

I see that exoticwooddash.com has a HUGE kit that slaps additional wood all over the place.

Does anyone know of any other manufacturers/suppliers who offer a more modest kit? I just want this once piece...

I ordered a kit from exoticwooddash for a Passat I had about 5 years ago, but it looked and felt so cheap & nasty when it arrived that I never fitted it and it just gathered dust in the back of the garage. Be very wary.

Don't do it. Even if one is available, it can't possibly look good. I give you the wood insert for the steering wheel as evidence.

As others have said, don't do it. These kits are "stick on" with either an adhesive backing or spray. They are "on top of" the dash panels, not a replacement for them, and they look horrible. To each his own, but I know from experience with a Land Cruiser in the 90's that these kits are a truly bad idea.

I would only do it if I saw the piece first, and if it was a complete replacement, and matched my other wood trim, as far as it looking good or not, that is a matter of opinion, and thats not what I'm looking for here, I just want to know if anyone here knows if any company out there makes it, thats all

I have a complete OEM burl wood trim kit from my '07 E90i. The ashtray cover piece is chipped (repairable) but the rest of the pieces are perfect.

This includes:

These parts run about $1200 from the dealer.

If anyone is inteested, PM me with an offer.
