So what's in the 'Competition Pack'

Just sharing some details I found on the Competition Pack for Aus spec cars... Whilst the US competition pack is priced at $5,500 USD for F80 and $5,000 USD for F82/F83, BMW Aus is doing the pack for $5k AUD across the F8X board - kudos for reasonable pricing (However I believe that figure is pre LCT, Stampduty and GST)

So what's included?
- 20" 666M Wheels running 265/30/20 and 285/30/20 tyres. Basically up one inch in diameter, and add 10mm of tyre width. Same widths though (9" front and 10" rear) and same offsets. An interesting design that not everyone will love

- Power lifted to 331kw. A '14kw' increase on paper. As most of us know, the 'standard' F8X is underrated anyway, so we'll see what the competition pack dynos at.
- Adaptive M sport suspension. The US press release states new springs, new shocks and new swaybars. Aus spec press release just states "Adaptive M Sport suspension with further settings"... unsure of what difference this will make in the real world. Also has recalibrated DSC settings
- Sports exhaust system with improved potent sound and tailpipes in black high-gloss. I think this would sit somewhere between 'regular' exhaust and 'm performance' exhaust, so as to not cannibalise sales of the MPE. Or it could just be the regular exhaust with black tips (like the Aus spec E92 pure edition)

- M seats with cut out elements for the driver and passenger. US press release describes these as "special lightweight M sport seats". They look cool at least.

- Seat belts with stripes in M colours.
- BMW kidney grille, side grille and model badge in black high gloss. Basically M performance grilles come standard. Approx $650 value right there

Thanks, great info indeed!

What bothers me is I ordered my car well before the CP info was even released. My car won't arrive til April yet customers have already received CP cars overseas ...

Yea that's pretty much the #1 complaint on the CPZ but the owners or people who have seen them in person say "they grow on ya".
