Insurance is insane!!!

Just renewing my Scoob insurance.

Put in a voluntary excess of £500 and get a price.....

Put in a voluntary excess of £100 and the price comes down by £22!!!

Bloody nuts but I'll take it thanks.

Dave.

Get your mum on there as a named driver, I've heard a few times this can reduce the premium

Got the wife on there and am actually quite pleased with the quotes I've got.

It is just why the hell when I reduce my voluntary excess by £400 does my quote come down £22???

Dave.

I've noticed this before. Always worth changing a few of the options as it can have a very positive affect. I had it once where if I opted in for protected no claims bonus the premium came down!! Doesn't always work but worth a go "just in case" as you have found
