Hybrid inlets?

So it seems the tough part of stock-side inlet installs is fitting the rear inlet between the firewall and the engine. And hot-side inlets require relocating a bunch of stuff.

Is anyone coming out with hybrid inlets? Let the rear turbo have a hot side inlet and just reposition the overflow tank or replace with the 335d tank, and have the front turbo use a stock-side inlet? Then you could at least keep the vacuum cans in the same spot or use a z4 mount. It might even be easier to bring the PCV vacuum source from the rear to the front turbo inlet with additional room in the back of the stock side.

edit- Like the S55 intakes.

It's not that hard. Just do it right.

Hexon rear inlets are two-piece and apparently the rear silicone part just slides straight in from the turbo side.

The hard part isn't getting the rear one in but rather getting the original rear one & bracket out. Not really hard but more time consuming.

We have a hybrid setup that will be released shortly. You'll have an OEM location rear inlet and a passenger side front intake. It won't require relocating the coolant tank but you will have to relocate the vacuum canisters which is significantly easier.
