If people get banned because they bad mouth new cars in this forum, then that only explains that this forum is a mouthpiece for the manufacturer ... Or is at the least heavily influenced by ...

Did he say something blasphemous and untrue like BMW is not really trying to make the ultimate driving machine? Or some other untruth like they should take the engineers making fake sound and use them to make e steering with more feedback? Or some other silly thing like why do US versions not get low weight options or cool M cloth interiors?

Perhaps some other nonesense like Maybe build a reliable fuel pump or buy one from Honda? Just curious if he made any such outlandish statements?

I don't want to gang up on Jason. I think he rocks! Just curious because I hear stupid things all day like guys saying that 135i with a tune is just as good. Or they say ridiculous things like drive your brand new car like you stole it. Break-in is just an urban myth. I even had a guy say he doesn't believe anything that comes from a 1M owner.
On the M3 forums I have heard stuff like you can't comment unless you own one.

Anyway, IEDEI is missed by me. I got tired of being flamed all the time and he took a big bulk of the fire! Can he be reinstated? What if he says electric steering is better than the old steering. Would that get him some points?

Somehow I'm not surprised. BMW and the mods get butt hurt when they read something they don't like and what they do is delete your post or ban you. I had first hand experience of my posts being deleted because the mods didn't like what I wrote. So I don't check the forums often, will eventually stop visiting the forum.
