M2 vs M3 exhaust note

Just found this on YouTube. Surprised how horrible M3 sounds versus the M2. I know this is a well known fact, but having never driven an M3 ... Wow.

The first time I started up an F80 I cringed. Game over...well, I did take it out for a spin. The sound is just not worthy.
