Now that the car has 5 upper anchor bolt points for the struts, has anyone come across a strut bar that can accommodate this? All the ones I've seen are designed for the 3 bolt. I like the look of the mechunik.

Had a strut brace on my Camaro SS (installed myself), in addition to stiff Eibach anti-sways and a rear hidden hitch receiver, which tied together the rear chassis, so it was one tight handling car (with LSD). Turned in like magic, held turns like glue and level like crazy. Miss it due to the suspension and chassis being so far ahead of my BMW. And look at how low and far back that engine is Trying to improve my BMW by lowering (with the suspension reflash I already have). I know it won't be the same, but it'll be better than before. A strut brace is a possibility, but I'd like stiffer anti-sways first.

Wiechers does have their strut bars compatible to the LCI. They confirmed me the part fit both LCI and pre-LCI.

Do you have a picture of this installed?
Is it fairly rigid or is it hinged?

This one is alloy but Weichers do offer a steel strut brace for BMW F3x

Mine is preLCI manufactured in Feb 2015 but still have 5 upper bolt points. I am looking for struts brace that can fit my car. Any update on which brand have it yet? Thanks.

It's not exactly lic / non-lci, they changed the bolt pattern during the life of the f30, if my understanding is correct 5 bolts from 2015 to mid 2016, then 6 bolts - not sure why...

Above in this thread someone mentions they bought a wiechers strut bar for 5-bolt pattern

Thank you. I've just send them a query and they confirmed that they re-design their struts to fit both pre-LCI and LCI. TunnerMotorSport have the same product that is re-brand by them, OEM by Wiechers.
