Recommendations for MA-area Dealers or CAs?

It's been a while since one of these was posted, but does anyone have a recommendation on a good dealer or CA I can work with on ordering my next car ('17 440 GC), as well as potentially trading in my current one?

Herb Chambers has always been too commercial and unwilling to budge on pricing for me whenever I've been there, and Shrewsbury, where I picked my current drive up had CAs and service that was appalling. I've heard good things about Sudbury and Peabody, and am probably going to reach out to them, but I wanted to have a dealer or two aside from them to compare price with. I do my servicing at Norwood since its convenient, but haven't had a chance to talk to them about new purchases. They also quoted me approx $12k for trading in my current ride, when similarly-specced and mileaged cars I've found on online listings were going for around $22k, so I'm feeling a little ripped off by them.

Lease or buy? I had a pretty good experience at Sudbury, but I really had to work for it. If you are particular about who you deal with there, I think you can do OK.

Sending you a PM.

For me, whoever gives me the best pricing will earn my business

Go hit up a few dealers now since they're disperate to make a sale for March Quarter-end numbers. Be aggresive and dont be afraid to walk out...trust me they will call you back

Also make sure you get $500 as a return bmw customer...tell them if there are any incentives that comes out while you wait for the car that they will honor to you

Stay away from CAs that try to walk you in the park, just get right down to business and talk numbers...no bullshit wasting time

Get at least $4500-$5500 off msrp or walk

Yeah, I straight up email my dealers and tell them I'm just here to talk numbers and pricing - I don't need a test drive or want to look at any other models, since I already know what I want.

I don't know if the orders for 435/440 will be able to be placed by March, though, so I don't think that'll work, unfortunately. Good call on the incentives thing though.

Is this in addition to the $500 from BMW CCA membership? That's awesome.

CCA is a rebate that they mail to you after. They told me 10 weeks to get the check...

I'm quite happy with Frank Chafe at Tulley.

Work the car up in TrueCar so you have an idea of what to expect, never show it to them unless they are way over. Be willing to walk, you'll get a fair deal.

Where do you live? Norwood has a bad rep. The rest are ok. Sudbury has been good to me.

Rehoboth - I'm closest to Norwood - perhaps South Shore?

Maybe I should have worked with Frank, my experience ordering a 340i through Tulley has been pretty rocky.

I got mine through Fred Diehl at BMW of Stratham (NH), a pleasure to deal with.
FDiehl@Group1Auto.com
I figured out a good price with TrueCar, gave Fred the number and he did it, no haggling whatsoever.
I can't comment much on service, as all I've needed is an oil change, but that was painless too.
