I'm shipping the car out for Bimmerfest for the first time and figured maybe we can try and get a meet together beforehand.

I'm not sure how you guys coordinate. Maybe a FB page or another forum/page.

I will be shipping my car probably the Thursday of that week to a shop.

Wondering if we should make threads in other forums like M3post, F30post, etc. Just have to figure out when and where. Would be difficult for me since I am not a local. Maybe a big lot as I expect a TON of people if we just get a huge group together. Would prefer to have something safe and not solicit and get kicked out.

On a side note, anyone want to help me with my stay for the few days? I'm trying to figure out where to stay and what to do. The only things on my list are visiting a few flagship shops (LTMW, EAS, etc). Those are in LA. I will be getting In 'n out, which is also north of LA. Hollywood is also north of LA.

So, it seems I will be staying on the northern side. I don't see much reason to go down towards Long Beach unless it's to visit. Any recommendations or anything else you can think of to help me?

Edit: I guess one thing I'm trying to find is a place that can accommodate a garage of some sort. Pretty hard to find!

Downtown LA? There's a lot of fun stuff to do, but the prices are crazy.

AirBnB bro. Lots of places that I stayed at in LA had a designated parking spot or private parking.

I ended up going on Airbnb and got a place in Gardena that will be allowing me to park in the garage.

Hopefully we can something rolling here. Hopefully someone who has been successful with hosting a big meet can get something figured out. I can update this as we go along. You guys should spread the word and put things up through your forums and FB pages when we do.
