Adaptive suspension - ? worth it

Am I correct in thinking that the M235I has several standard driving modes via a switch by the gear lever, but there is also a further option for adaptive suspension. Or have I got it wrong and they are one and the same thing.
I ask because some AUC Vehicles have adaptive suspension listed as an option and others dont.

Assuming the adaptive suspension is an option - is it worth it ? Many M235 dont have it listed , so Im thinking it doesnt make much difference.

Happy to be corrected.

Hi.

Adaptive suspension is not standard and was a £500 option. A lot of people say that it was very beneficial and totally worth the extra.

For me though, being old and fat, I used the money for heated seats and steering wheel and didn't bother with the adaptive suspension.

Thanks for that - I'll put it on my list of options to get.

Things I dont want are adaptive headlights and high beam assist - had them on my E91 and they were a right PITA

Another must is electric seats as the E91 manual seats were the most difficult to adjust on the move that Ive ever had - never understood how BMW could cock that up so badly (mind you look where the fuses are on a E91)

I went for manual seat. Its generally only me that drives the car so struggled to justify the extra money when the seat won't move much at all.

I'd definitely get the adaptive headlights, work perfectly.
