I paid around $2,200 for 10y/100k on MY12 328i. You have a ton of room to negotiate.

That is a lot. How has the car been so far?
If wait until close to warranty end, then take an assessment of the car. You know better than us how hard you drive, bumps, etc. The other poster is right, you can haggle the cost of the warranty.

Car has 46K on it. It's in immaculate condition. No mechanical issues. I change the oil every 5K.....normal intervals from BMW plus interim changes at an Indy.
My sense is the dealer is being extremely piggish. |
