M2/1M
The 1M is my soul mate, period. But we just adopted a new sibling. This fricken M2 is crazy cool. The stock exhaust is an enthusiasts dream. It is everything the the 1M is but smoother. I applaud BMW for a great effort to create Pyrat2. It's a worthy successor. Buy one as soon as you can.

Personally I can't see the point in having two cars that are essentially the same in regards to both being rwd coupes with limitations that brings. I'll keep my 1M and probably go for the current model Cayman S in a couple of years when depreciation becomes my friend. What I really want is a 911R but that will always remain a dream unfortunately!

Then, I drove a 911 and was blown away by how utterly different the rear weight bias made the car feel and drive, especially in the twisties. It was a totally different experience and driving it fast on the track was like learning to drive all over again! So, I ended up keeping the 1M (always!) and added an old school air-cooled Porsche 911. Couldn't be happier w my current car situation!! ($.02)

I have been using the 1 as a DD but wanted to limit the miles and keep for a long time. So the M2 was and is the perfect solution for me. Drive safe!!
