Audi RS3 what's it like ?

As per title - anyone driven one? The sound of the 2.5 does sound appealing as I search for a change from my 335d.

Expensive and frequently comes out behind its competitors.

Sounds nice though!

I had the use of one for the day, i really liked it for hooning around, nice sound, better with a miltek exhaust on, but not an everyday car for me. Plenty of pulling power and quite quick..... But a bit bland. I guess a wolf in sheeps clothing. I considered one before i ordered my 335d. As said above, very expensive. But which Audi isn't....

Watch this comparison with the Golf R. Everyone seem to be making the same comments. Too expensive.
New RS Focus might be the best compromise and will hold their value for quite a while.

Test drove one the other week , same thing 335 vs RS3.
Really liked RS3, if I could have got a deal I would have bought it.

Fantastic noise - and variable in the settings with sports exhaust.

Needs magnetic ride as it transforms car, have driven both, with and without.

Hope I don't regret buying 335D

You will love the effortless grunt from the 335d.
I'm 2 years in with mine and I'm thinking about what i would like this time next year. I think an M car is just too far out my reach.

The looks are enough to put me off without driving it. It just doesnt look special enough to wear the RS badge.

Awful image....

Around here, it's the No.1 "Asian Rental". You can find an S3 on it's side or into a lamp post pretty much every day....

EVO reviewed it several months ago and said, surprise surprise, that the steering had little feedback and that the driving dynamics let it down.

I had a play with an S3 saloon a few weeks ago and he didn't pull away, so I'd say 'averagely swift'. IMO not worth the money.

Think this is a decent review without the author sucking the manufacturer off in his praises for the car.

Watch for his detailed opinion and a list of car's niggles. And that's something coming from a German car enthusiast.

Also one from a different perspective:

See the difference?

And the last but not least:
