Intercoler leak near forge boost hose?

Still getting oil puddle on drip tray under forge boost hose, looks like it is coming from the intercoler at the boost hose end. Is it common for the intercoler's to leak/weap oil?

Can the intercoler's seals be repaired or does it need a new 1.

Car is 335d e91 on a 56 plate done 83k

Any 1 had this issue? Could only find posts about the actually red boost hose.

Thanks

Im hoping so. The car drives fantastic no loss in power or fault codes. Seems to be a common thing that the 335d leak oil at the charge pipe. Standard or remapped.

Just frustrating seeing that it is still leaking somewere on or around the bottom corner of the intercoler were its all plastic. I don't want it to leak at all.

I'm going to get it looked at next week, getting the diff oil changed at the same time, are the intercolers in the 335d strong or is that another weak point to the car?

I know, it's the 1 part of the car that really frustrates me.
Bmw with all there billions could not design a charge air pipe, in our case the red boost hose to be able to withstand the pressure it's under.

It's going in next week I'm going to have a good look at that area hopefully it might be a lose fitting were the intercooler fits the pipe.

I will take pictures of the car when on the ramp so everyone can have a good look.

Be around Wednesday before its done.

All fixed.

It was the connection from the intercooler to the coupling of the boost hose.

Can notice a difference in performance especially low down.

The leak was pretty bad, made up its done. You were spot on again Aragorn, nice 1 mate.
