TPMS Short - How to reset with Tool32
Hello all!
So after running around with no Daytime running lights on the driver side, with the help of the How-tos on this fourm I was ablw to finally get my K+DCAN cable and install of INPA and tool32 working and was able to fix it! THANK YOU! Now on to my next problem: The rat nest of wiring that shorted the driver's side light also shorted the TPMS module that lives in the front driver's wheel well. I went ahead and also fixed that but it keeps showing as inactive. I'm guessing after 50 start up it also is being shut off (tho I am not sure if it runs on same FRM logic or even runs thru it). So my question is now that I have fixed the wiring short, how do I reset the TPMS signal? The light circuit reset are easy to find via google having trouble with this. Would clearing the codes do the trick? Thank you, |

Have you checked for power at the TPMS module itself? Check the fuse.
Have you checked the battery level in each of the wheel sensors? They typically only last 4-5 years. Any tire store can scan the sensors and read remaining battery life. |
