Best tires for big HP cars
Right now I've got 275/30-19 Michelin PSS, LSD, KWv2 cool overs, super stiff subframe bushings, and rear differential lock down kit. I'm spinning both rears at 70 plus at will. What wheel tire combo are you guys using to get grip? I'm looking at Bridgestone RE11 in 275 now. Its a daily driver and I'm in Florida so I need max traction with adequate wet, noise, and wear. Thx.

Best for power? In your case Toyo TQ's are good, they hold descent power. Nitto NT05R's are excellent, but no Bueno for rain. I have the Michelin SS on my tune only 335i and spin the crap out of them. I just ordered the new Nitto 555 G2s today for my 335i, supposed to be really good according to my mustang buddies. On my Z06, NT05R, hands down the best other than straight E.T. Streets.

You're not going to get all, tread wear, noise, wet traction etc. my ET streets are actually pretty good in the wet. I wouldn't DD them somewhere like FL. But I don't DD them, I just happened to get caught in the rain with them and thought they did very well. Tread wear sucks though. R888 is a pretty good compromise to all. My buddy DDs them on his high HP M5

Good to know. Next quandary is R888 doesn't come in 275/30-19. Closest is a 265. Would loosing 3/4 of an inch in rubber vs the PSS mean I'm not gaining much more traction? Really wanted 285s and the Bridgestone re11 and Nitto nt05 are available in 275s. Also looking at pirelli assemetrico corsa systems

I love MT ET Streets but their size selection isn't great. That's why I went down to smaller wheel diameters. They make the size I need for my 17 and 18 inch wheels.

What are your choices in the 275? Does Nitto make a NT555R in that size? That would be a good all around tire, just not great treadwear. Neither would an R888 either though. What about the Toyo R compounds, do they make them in your size?

I think the R888 is going to give you the best traction. They are far superior to the other tires listed. The rest are just all summer tires. I went with the new Nitto NT555 G2 to DD on but I have spare wheels with MT for when I need traction. I know that I chirp 2nd gear in my tune/DCI only, DCT car so I'm not sure how great they'd be with 200 more HP. IDK man, tough choice, personally I'd go R888.
