Oh yes love my bike. Wish I had time to use it more!

Got to love the Yamahas, I ran a FZ6 Fazer for years before I got my Trophy.

Dave.

I have been thinking of getting myself into a MT07/09 or something similar. My girlfriend says NO to me every time I bring this subject up.
Also interested in BMW's own R nine T

Mate of mine just got one of these. BMW S1000 RR. Had a short ride and I absolutely adore it. Would definitely be in my stable if funds, wife and wrists permitted.

Love bikes, however as above banned by my wife.

I would have at some point killed myself.

Bike deaths and serious injuries are (were) far higher in the Forces than civilian life.

Easily in double figures on friends killed or seriously injured from bikes.

Unfortunately the buzz of high is a great stress relief.

So yeah love them, in a way wish had kept with it, however would likely have not reached year 2000.

Strangely, I don't stop my daughter with bikes.

Another ex biker, for much the same reasons as Brigand, and I couldn't keep the damn thing in double figures.

I need my licence for my current job, and 2 young children made my head rule my heart.

I shall miss it though.

I am tinkering with the idea of getting a bike just for track days, but it's only an idea at this time.

Grew up with bikes. I've been doing bike hillclimbs, sprints, drags and top speed events for 30 years. Partners have liked it or lumped it

Previous KH250, Z650, Z1000J, 750 turbo, ZX9R. Now rider for the Storm dragbike team, and we just got this at work which will be a demo bike for AC Schnitzer (who do stuff for BMW bikes as well as cars). I don't ride on the road much but I'm looking forward to a few sunny day rides on it.

I like bikes but only to look at. I just couldn't trust myself on one. And as for other road users not paying attention It's bad enough on a road bike let alone a motorbike

Rode bikes from age 16 right up to last year.

Last one I owned was a CBR1000-RR11 - full Repsol colours. I loved that bike.... sold it late last year.

Previous bikes were mostly GSXR 1000's and spent many a day hooning around Oulton Park.

Just given up bikes for same reasons as others, #1 baby will be here next month.

Sold it 3 weeks ago. Very sad day . Going to have to replace it with a weekend car. Or maybe a motor yacht?

Never had a bike, never wanted one. I put that down to visiting my cousin every week when I was about 11... He was in the Navy and broke his neck in a swimming accident when in Australia. They brought him back to Lodge Moor spinal unit in Sheffield and it seemed that most of the guys in his ward were there because of motorbikes....

Good to see another 'rider' on the boards

Here's my '01 vintage FZS1000 - still going strong although I seem to cover fewer and fewer miles each year (getting older like everyone else!).
