Self Installing M Performance Grills.

So, I wanted to install mine this morning, but it looked like it would take longer than I thought.

I helped my buddy SaMaster14 install his, but with the M2 it's different because the grills don't connect to the lights, so I was thinking that bending the top of the front bumper back to get my hand it would be near impossible.

Has anyone done this yet?

Cheers!

It is doable if you don't have hands like a giant.
I didn't have the patience though so I just cut the stock grille and removed it from the outside.

I will never put it back anyway.

On a completely different level than. The exhaust note so far is my favorite thing. Once I get past break in period, I can't even imagine what it will sound like.

The size is perfect, it looks really mean, and the ride is spot on for an aggressive daily.

This is the right car for me, no doubt. I've gone full Kool-aid mode.

I agree based on the test drive i had. The ride was perfect, the handling was in another league to my M235i. The noise it makes, oh my god!!, epic. The view of the rear flares in the side mirror❤️

Only being able to rev it to 4500rpm meant i couldn't really feel much difference in pace to my M235i. However, i'd buy it even if it had same power based on looks and handling alone.

I'm still gauging the handling compared to my EVO X. There is definitely a difference between electronic steering and hydraulic steering. The car is more nimble than the EVO X which was shocking.

Are you changing the whole grill or just the chrome part.
