Lost property help
My son has left his laptop arvFrankfurt airport where it has been handed in. He is now in Vienna flying back early to London. Any suggestions of couriers etc that could help get it back. He has been quoted £500! This might be an express option and his phone battery has now died. Suggestions welcome.

Who was he flying with? Might be worth an ask to see if they might fly it back?
Mrs left her phone in Calais at the EuroTunnel last year. It was found they they shipped it back thru the tunnel & then posted to us by recorded. 1st class customer service. |

Online parcel couriers like parcel2go will quote a lot less than £500. Price depends on value of the laptop and speed he needs it back. One issue might be getting the airport to parcel it up adequately to prevent damage in transit, and your insurance will be worthless if it hasn't been properly packaged.

One of the big issues with this is it's not proved it actually belongs to someone.
The person sending it, is not the person owning it, it will be a person from airport. This may be an issue security wise. Would someone be happy flying on a flight with a laptop that belonged to someone from another country, not on the flight and had been left at the airport.... |
