Dealer Programming Tricks

Hello!

I'm taking delivery of my new 335i this week at the dealership I work for. One of my friends at BMW says he'll help me program the car any way I like.

Any tricks we can do while in the computer? I think the car comes with the "windows down while holding unlock" feature. Anything else you guys would do if you could program? Car is non-iDrive.

A lot of settings can be self-configured through the OBC - Personal Profiles settings. The windows up and down is standard.

Well since you're in, maybe you can ask your friends at BMW to:

1) remove the 155mph speed limiter
2) euro headlight settings i.e. angel eyes without the side markers

Report back if you're successful, I am sure many would like to know

Rookie question, but how do you edit the OBC Profile? Something with the turn signal stalk? I know, I know, I should read the manual.

See if you can get rid of the Seat Belt chime.

Windows done through the fob and windows up via key. But you're right, one more thing to add to the list, windows up via key fob

If you are getting the sedan, see if they can enable angel eyes on keyfob unlock like the coupes...
