Upgrading headlights
Hey everyone, just got a almost new 2014 BMW 320i F30 with the sport package and this is my first post! The headlights that it has seem to be the most basic of the headlights(I think they are called reflector headlights). There are no projector lights or any LED rings (I do not really know much about lights so if I am wrong, please correct me). They are just standard headlights, the lights is yellow. I was looking around but I can't really find a clear answer. I think I know I can just install LED light bulbs on it, by just reaching in and swapping the ones it has for white LED bulbs, but this is my question. With the headlights I have right now, can I just install Halo rings inside of them? I was thinking of the ones in the link below but I see the cars with those rings have those projectors lights or headlights that look nothing like mine. Can I just install these and it will fit/look nice or do I need to completely install new headlights? Thank you.

First off, welcome to the forums!
Second, unless you want to do a projector retrofit while you have the headlights open to put these rings in, your best bet is to go with the LED headlights from Umnitza, they are the exact same lights that ONEighty sells, just slightly cheaper. Otherwise your only options are essentially live with the halogens, do an OEM Bi-xenon retrofit, buy the Umnitza headlights, or open up your current headlights and put these rings and a projector in. |

Depends, you don't have to put one in the high beam, but you can. You can put the rings in, but if you're going to go through the hassle of opening the headlights, you might as well put a HID projector in it as well since we all know how horrible these lights are.

I would just do it right and replace the entire lamp modules with One-Eighty, there is nothing more depressing than seeing a new generation BMW retrofitted with some halo rings that don't look OEM.

There's a video in one of the threads that shows the output on them, they seem to be really good. I don't believe that ONEighty is selling the lights anymore since another company came out selling the same lights for cheaper than them.
