Who sells Drilled/Slotted Rotors for F30 335i?

I can only find Stoptech around $650 shipped for 4 rotors. Car is a 2012 335i so it has the dual piston front, standard rears.

R1 concepts doesn't have any..

Any input for a possibly cheaper set, mine are slightly rusting (I'm very particular and my OEM's are almost new, so would like to not break the bank.

Thanks!

I hope you're not replacing them just because they have surface rust??? Any rotor is going to have surface rust.

Should be 4 piston front, 1 rear for 335i.

must be 'for the look" right?

I would get some Centric rotors on rockauto. You can get them slotted and dimpled or cross-drilled and you can get them with the "hats" painted too so you don't get that "rust" problem you speak of.

Weaker or not i don't think it makes a significant difference for city vehicles as i see higher powered vehicles with drilled slotted rotors. Now if your tracking your car i can see were weaknesses might be a concern. Im going the same route once my rotors are toast. Mainly for looks.

I had stoptechs on my last 335i, and the hats were powder coated black and never had any issues with rusting. But yes just replacing because of the rust spotting. Im a very particular person about my car.

New better looking rotors that will not rust, stop tech are $650 for all 4, which is the only option I have found thus far.

Sounds like you're price-sensitive. If that's the case you could just clean the rust and paint the hats yourself, save yourself about $630. I think somebody posted a DIY for it around here somewhere.

New better looking rotors that will not rust, stop tech are $650 for all 4, which is the only option I have found thus far.

All metal rotors are going to rust, it's the material by nature. If they were metal and did NOT rust that would be very alarming. Some companies make a rotor with a zinc coating, but that will wear off over time (heat) and the rotors will rust again.

If a rust free rotor is your end goal the ONLY option for you would be to upgrade the system to ceramic. otherwise you will be looking at new rotors every 6 months.

You'd be looking at new rotors every time you wash the car.

i'm giving OP the benefit of the doubt that the rust he is upset with is not on the surface of the rotor but on the edges/hat otherwise lol yea

doesnt mean they have the best option fitted. drilled rotors were a thing for older brake pads. today it just means you are running behind the times.

even the M rotors are dimpled, not drilled.
