Apparently it has :

Downpipes (unknown if catted or catless)
N55 mids
Lightweight exhuast system

And an MHD tune (special bang/crackle/pop kind of tune!)

I think the overrun on this is pretty excessive but it does sound awesome.

The last thing I want is neighbors dropping to the ground in fear of their lives... Or.. Worse yet returning fire! . I live in Texas!!


Seems like BMW engineers did the same sort of tune (albeit with a bit more unmmmm restraint) on the M2.

I always laugh when people say a turbo motor doesn't sound good ... Or.. A 4 cylinder motor doesn't sound good ... (Or both ! Lol ) Etc.

Those pops and crackles on overrun are wild! Not for me, but pretty cool none the less.

Love the noise on acceleration though. I was wondering whether to get a Lightweight catback to go with my N55 mids or go the full system. Pretty sure I'll be happy with the cat-back

LOL seriously right? At first with all the turbo-charging of cars today to "meet" FE standards, I read reviews, engine noise is lost, cars sound "asthmatic" so now we're getting more of this shit. Sometimes it's done very well, but now I think it's getting outta hand.

Every city around the world has their own thing on what's "hot" as far as car mods go... but now I think this *crackle* is being over done.

There's no way I could drive in a "normal" neighborhood with excessive crackle like that... and to your point it's VERY GTA, makes sense now.

I used to live in San Francisco - for 15 years - and this was the most f'd up fad to make the news in Bay Area.

I dont think this crackle and popping sound is due from the exhuast system as much as it is from the tune .
