Well I bought one of those trackers mentioned above for about £30 with that discount and Top Cashback discount.

It arrived yesterday so been playing with it and so far it has been absolutely brilliant! Makes a change that something works exactly how it should with no issues! You just text it and it texts you back with a google maps link which you click on and it drops a pin on google maps on your phone to show the location of the tracker. There is a free real time tracker app that you can use as well although it costs a little for data – but I used it for 10 mins last night and it used 1p of credit!

I lot of the bad reviews on the net are from people that haven’t set it up properly with the sim that came with it. I just took the sim out and got a giffgaff sim (who I’m with) so can have free texts. If anyone gets one I'd recommend putting the sim you want to use in a normal phone and test that you can text to/from it before you put it into the tracker.

All in all a brilliant buy for the money – so far - and costs next to nothing to run.

Well I'm still impressed with the tracker and good for £30 with the discounts.

Just remember to test whatever sim you use first in a phone.
