335XI sport stock tire question

correct me if I am wrong.

Can I use both 225 45 R 17 & 255 40 R 17 , on the same 17'' Rims?

I have stock rims and running 225 45 R 17 on all 4 at the moment and plan to run 255 40 R 17 on the rear if I am able to.

Please assist.

so both on a 17x8 or something? i wouldn't run a 255/40 on a 17.

Thanks mate, the owners manual confused the sht outta me with the tire sizes for a second i didnt know what size rims i had

i'm assuming you have 17x8, if so just run 225/45/17 all around.
