Today is the day

Hi guys after nearly 4 months anxious waiting, finally took delivery my new SS M3 CP today. Pretty excited, absolutely loving it. And this is my first BMW and first M. I should say the CP is definitely add something to the car, the wheels looks absolutely amazing. And i did order few CF parts, lucky the dealer put all them on before delivery. Sorry about iPhone photo quality, will add more photos later on.

Looks beautiful! Great color combination. Like the contrasts all around. I haven't seen those 20's on an M3 before. I didn't think they'd look that good. Saw your steering wheel, you gotta report back what you think about it. Gotta love it when the dealer surprises you with installing your goodies without you waiting longer.
4 months is so long to wait. I guess you Australian's get used to waiting longer for these things when ordered since shipping is so much longer.

Enjoy!!

Thanks man. The wheel is definitely looking good in person. The steering wheel with race display, wow, i should say so amazing and definitely is a must for M cars. The shift indicator so awesome especially during the nightie. The feeling of the alcantara is much better than the leather.
4 months waiting is absolutely torture for anyone, i have to check the forum everyday and see what's the update of everyone else's M3 CP. Anyway finally got delivered, and let's see what the car can do..lol..

Looks amazing!!!! This is my build too (only my steering wheel is on the other side and I don't have all of the carbon fiber goodies). That just made me even more excited. Congrats!! You'll have to post up a review when you get a chance.

NICE!!! Glad to see the guys down under getting the competition cars already.

It's always such a trip to see the steering wheel on the right..wonder how many right-handed people miss-shift the transmissions on the track.

Great taste man, you won't regret of this combo. I should say there is nothing I don't like this car so far. Stock exhaust is excellent, CP seats are quite comfortable than I thought. Hopefully you can get your hands on this baby soon.

That's a real good looking M3! Good choices and the CP too, of course. Enjoy!

Only 28 hours and 38 minutes to go, but who’s counting

I love the CP on your car, just regret not taking up the option on mine. Maybe next time

Cheers mate,

Just a heads up about the wheel, i found that if the car is left out in the sun for a while, the electronic display and lights will not display until the interior of the car reaches ambient temperature. Don't stress if this happens, it will work after 10-20 minutes.

If you are still under 2000 k service, you can set the wheel to red line earlier so you keep below the 5500 rev range, this is done in settings page 32 in PDF I sent. Makes sense when you your doing it. E.g set limit to 5500 rpm so it red lines just before.

Enjoy the wheel, feels and looks fantastic. Best accessory during BMW track day at Mallala. Lights are in line of vision and flash dramatically when set to your max rpm setting.

Cheers mate,
