First Wash - XPEL requires almost no drying
After washing the car with light soap and water with a microfiber covered sponge, I lightly hosed the car down with free flowing water and was pleasantly surprised to discover that the car requires very little effort to dry. I have no top coat on the wrap. This is what it looked like before drying. Temperature was upper 60s mostly in the shade.

Is it only for the "matte" finish?

Not the biggest fan of LBB but your car really is stunning! If I "had" to own LBB I would do the same thing.
Quite impressing pics by the OP. Will the film retain the hydrophobic properties throughout the years or does it need a new coating? |

Yes, you can also clay the film if it starts to collect any debris/contaminants

Has anyone considered 3M Scotchguard as an alternative to Expel Ultimate ? I read somewhere that it's up to 30 % cheaper and am wondering what the difference is in terms of quality. Does anyone know ? I've got a quote for the whole car in XPEL Ultimate in Geneva, Switzerland for € 5100. Since I'm going to keep the car 10 years I think I'll do it.

I remember this stealth install was a little pricey. Is an ultimate install the same price or is the film less expensive?

It looks like matte or frozen blue this way.
I`m sorry to say I don`t like it this way, it takes away the unique LBB shine IMHO What I have done; Mine (LBB) is glass coated with IGL Kenzo Glasscoating........ It feels so smooth, and killerlooks off course And best of all; 4 years warranty ! |
