The DSC/E-Differential in Comfort/Sport are smarter than I thought.

Maybe "smoothly intrusive" rather than "smart" is a better term? I've owned my 6MT M235 for 3 months now and perhaps never until today did I really hammer it hard in 1st in Sport mode on a slightly moist surface going straight and felt like there was absolutely NO boost in 1st. It felt completely naturally aspirated and with no perceivable boost at all. In other cars I've owned and driven, the tires would spin wildly, then the ECU would jump in, kill the throttle, and hit the brakes to limit the spin. In some cars, it would dang near throw you forward. In my M235, it's seamless in Sport or Comfort. Impressive none the less, but so freaking smooth that I thought my car was broken I had to put it into Sport+ and confirm that it did have balls in 1st and could spin them on a rolling punch and then the DSC/E-diff would jump in somewhat aggressively.

I'm only making this thread in case some newbie like myself experiences something similar. There's not a lot of detail written about this specific situation/scenario. Only "it's intrusive", "kills the fun", "I can't drive in the snow. Why?", etc.
