extended warranty - recommendations?
Hello All,
The factory warranty for my 2013 335 is going to expire early 2017 - given all the problems I've had in the past (random rattles, camera failures), I think it might be a good idea to get an extended warranty. Does anyone here have any experiences with this? I think BMW is calling the extended warranty (not maintenance) "Extended Service Contract" now...anyone know how much it costs? from which dealer? Also it'd be great if someone can give me some insights on some of the 3rd party warranty providers...I probably will still go with BMW, but it never hurts to know what are the other options. Thanks in advance, P |

Thanks...but I heard that BMW's new rule says that the care has to be physically present at the dealership if you want to buy extended warranty? Also can I make my car a CPO? (without selling it though!) I heard it's possible but not sure what's the process is like. |
