JB2HR does 115.2 mph qtr mile on VBox

Here is a video clip of a 12.3sec 115.2 qtr mile run on the VBox in my 07 Steptronic Sedan. Remember, the speedometer reads at least 5 mph slower instead of faster as most BMWs do, because of the fact that the DRs are so much taller. So in effect, there is probably a 10mph difference in speed when my gauge is reading 100mph compared to a stock tired 335i. This is cold weather, sea level testing. The car is stock except for JB2HR, 17" DRs Rear, and 19 CSL Reps/Generals Front.

My time at Famosa was a 12.13 second 1/4 mile with a DA of 650FT+ (best trap that day 113.67mph)
So cold temps and sea level conditions will easily bring you 1.5mph (about 15hp).

The picture below shows my conservative speedometer reading compared to the true GPS readout.
I set the Vbox to beep at around 116mph.

Actually 1.53 mph greater than my 113.67 mph drag strip time slip is nothing remarkable. Its totally plausible and actually expected. I always try and provide as many facts as possible. But your right, I post he Gtech numbers, and people say its not accurate compared to a Vbox. I get the Vbox, and post the video. I show my drag strip times (#3 on Dragtimes) so there really shouldn't be much doubt in the figures that I present.

I only have one question: how the hell were you able to record video on that speed? Was the camera fixed, or were you driving with one hand?

Actually it is a small digital camera with video capabilities. It is so small I just rubber band it to the visor. I can record 1 hour of video with it. Same camera I used in my canyon runs vs the bikes. It has great picture and sound capabilities. EXZ750.
