Track day recommendations

I'd like to take my car to the track and learn the basics in a HPDE event. I'd definitely like an instructor since i'm a rookie who has never been to a track before.

Which clubs do you guys recommend close to the SF Bay area? I've done some research and found these 2 promising:

Simraceway

Hooked on Driving

Any others i should consider? I'd love to get some feedback/advice from track regulars.

Yes, the hooked on driving school is great. Expensive but worth the price.

Then do cheaper track days with NCRC, SpeedSF, and Track Masters. Run in their solo/beginner group and get a lot of seat time. Watch my track videos on YouTube.
