Looking for "before and after" LBB side gill swap photos
Considering IND black and color matched gills as options, but having a hard time finding good before and after (and after) photos for all the options. Full side view and closer view. If anyone has gathered them up, that'd be great. If not, I'll post once I assemble later today. Thanks.

As promised. I found some good images here - thanks to MTHRAR for the pics of his car with LBB gills and others whose images I used. I was going to be diligent, then I lost my note on whose pictures I borrowed. Anyway, here is a series of comparisons (both close up and "full side" views) of:
- IND color-matched to stock - Black performance to stock - Black performance to IND color-matched

Agreed. A little torn between black and color-matched. I was sure I would do color matched, but now... i don't know.

The color matched looks a bit "vacant".

That is what I was struggling with. Cannot tell if it looks "sleek" or, as I think you put perfectly, "vacant". Leaning back toward the black...

Color matched looks odd to me and really out of place. Go with the all black which is what i'm doing and already have, just need a car to install them on

In the case of the M2, I think stock looks the best due to the contrast.

This. While I'm not a natural chrome fan, the whole point of the design is for the chrome to decorate/offset the faux vent. If you color match, you essentially delete the vent and you're left with unnecessary molding in the door lines. If you paint all black, you delete the gill decoration and enlarge and misshape the vent.

We need to see some "edition" black chrome gills and grills, like what they had for the E9x.
Those would prob be a good option. |

Just ordered the kit from @ryan at IND - went with LBB matched gills with the black M2 bars across (and grille surrounds, front/rear reflector delete/LBB M2 logo) and a BSM matched M4 logo for my wife's F82. Thanks Ryan!
