BMW needs to fix my car

So my car has been in the shop for a week and a half now. They replaced the water pump and camshaft sensor. I go to pick it up Saturday and I start it. Cracking takes like a 15 seconds before it turns over. They say they'll take a look at it today and call me. I'm selling the car but can't sell it if it doesn't start up right.
It's gets the ses light, dsc light and brake light. Randomly. Sometimes the rpms just like crazy. What do you think the problem is ? Service advisor says now it might be the HPFP. I don't want them just throwing parts at it. I just want it fixed so I can sell it This car is a 328i 2008 btw

328i's don't have a HPFP.

I have had my car for 7 months I replace

Eccentric shaft sensor
Head gasket
Oil pan
Airbag
Water pump
Crank shaft position sensor
I believe BMW is replacing the lpfp right now.

I was selling it because I want s 335i but now the future isn't look so bright might have to leave the BMW community and get something a little more pocket friendly.

On the plus side I got my warranty for a $1. So they replaced most of that stuff. But I have a $250 deductible.

Yikes....quite the list.
That would have scared me away from any brand in that time frame.
Curious, how was the mileage of the car when you bought it?

Have they done fuel pressure tests? This will confirm if it's a LPFP issue or not. BTW, I know the pain...

You're bound to spend money at some point if you have the car long enough. That should have been the mind set going in. But yes, staying positive is the best thing you can do at this point.

I know I wasn't worried about spending money but repairs every 2 months isn't the move

Unplug the MAF. Start the engine (it will run on a stored map). Drive around a while. The plug the MAF back in. Clear the MAF code.

So by this they mean that the Eccentric Shaft sensor was not plugged in for some reason. How on earth did was it unplugged? Judging by the work that they did there was no reason for this to be unplugged or even accessed. Weird!!

How is the car behaving though?

So far the car runs like a champ. Don't know why the needed to touch that, I'm selling the car tomorrow morning. Now this is all on the next owner to worry about. Not that I want anything to go wrong I give it to him running and with warranty

Well, buying a used car is always a risk, and things can go wrong at any point.
