Insurance
My insurance is up for renewal,
I was curious to see difference in quotes between declaring JB4 and wheels and not. Without JB4 and wheels my quote is £300 per annum cheaper! comes in at £670 With declared its £973... Vajesus... I didn't realise it would have that big of an impact. Edit: just found it £200 cheaper on another comparison website with mods declared and still with Adrian Flux. strange how that one works!

The JB4 adds an additional 25% to the car's power output, so I'm not surprised it goes up.

I found with Adrian Flux the more mods you have the more they brought down the policy. Also got a better price when I called them and spoke to a broker.

One of the annoying things about insurance is their randomness in dealing with claims. One person will say XXX is terrible. One person will say XXX is amazing. I'd say avoid the really dire ones that most people agree on then go with the cheapest from the rest and assume you'll have to put up with cretins when making a claim. Until some super duper insurance company (ha) comes along, I can't see things improving.
