Bmw 323i 2007 key not working

Hello everyone/:::; i have 2007 bmw 323i recently i have seen a change in my car remote function:;;i can't lock the car but on the other side i can unclock and trunk latch also works/::i tried the second remote but that also has the same issue.:.went to dealership and they said i can't replace the remote battery because i don't have CA::but got the battery for free/::i opened the remote and the chip underneath has battery which has the exact voltage as it used to be ::i.e 3 v/:;anybody has any idea what is the issue?

You opened your non-CA key? I hope you didn't break it...

Does it lock with the button on the dash? Is it just one door or all doors that won't lock?

Well i can unlock all the doors with my remote unlock button but can't lock with the remote button::

n the other side i can lock from the center button on the dashboard/::all the fuses looks fine /:so any idea whts wrong with this/::

It sounds more like the door lock actuator has failed on one or more of your doors. To make sure that is not the key fob, try locking the car with your physical key or at the very least your spare.
