Who's not getting PPF and why?

I've never had it on my cars. Wife's Audi Q5 has 36k miles on it and the front is flawless minus one rock chip on the front of the hood.

I had a 350Z for 13 years and the front bumper from up close looked like it was sand blasted. Pitted all over. Nothing major anywhere else. I thought maybe the bumper was due to cheaper quality paint vs the Audi.

The M2 has 1k miles on it now and I'm regretting not having at least covered the front bumper. Anybody else the same boat?

Can PPF still be applied after the car has a few minor blemishes?

It depends on the environment you live in, driving conditions and of course the hardness of the paint. In AZ it is really essential to have Xpel or clear bra, otherwise your car will look like a sand blaster got a hold of it pretty quickly. For your car, if you decide to you can still do it. It's best to touch up the spots where there are blemishes, they will show slightly but not too bad. A buddy did that and it worked out nicely. I am anti seam on the hood so for me it is all or nothing in regard to the hood so that adds some cost but I think it is worth it.

Thank you. I have an appointment set for a week from Friday to have the bumper done.
