F31 takeover...ok maybe just one more in a sea of sedans

Only mods so far are KW V1's and fifteen52 tarmacs w/Toyo Proxes T1. Not sure what else I have planned for it honestly. My last car was heavily modified and don't plan to do that with this (at least so far). But love driving it, such a perfect daily.

Solid! I've loved these wheels since the early days of the ken block focus. First time seeing on a f3x and look great.

Thanks man! Pretty sure I'm the only F30/31 with them which is weird since they sell perfect sizing for them.

I think color matched sidemarkers and a lip are next.

This was my big turbo focus ST that the wagon replaced.

what turbo did you have fitted to the ST? I really didnt expect the tarmacs to suit this, but they really do. maybe its the fact the car is red and wheels are white, as im sure if the car was estoril blue, they just wouldn't look as good?!

Garrett GTX2867r on the ST. The car went through a ton of different iterations but that pic was the last version which was big turbo, 2-piece forged fifteen52 EVO Classics and KW V3 coils (among other various mods). It was the first MK3 ST on Airlift suspension at one time but I never loved the way the car sat when it was bagged. The car was featured in the Feb 2016 issue of Fast Fords mag as well.

I'm a sucker for 5-spoke wheels and I have learned that tarmacs look good on pretty much anything which is awesome. Plus no offense to anyone but the F30 community has like 3 different wheels that are used over and over again and I wanted something different. While tarmacs are popular wheels they arent used much yet on F30's. Plus white and red just looks soooo good ha!

Oh okay, thats quite a small turbo for a five cylinder... I know guys running these on 1.6 four cylinders. Currently I have a GT2860RS .64ar on my corsa (weekend car) and that makes 321bhp. I bet there was no lag whatsoever on the ST with that GTX?

Yes I agree - everyone sticks to the same wheels, im a sucker for the 437M wheels (M3) but like your style. Your F31 is xdrive too right?

Well big turbo on a 2.0 4cyl that is but still relatively small. Car was making 330whp and was built for track days not drag strips.

The US ONLY gets 328 (gas and diesel) xdrives in the wagon, we dont even get a manual option. Americans buy SUV's not wagons unfortunately so we don't have many good options for wagons these days. Audi doesn't even currently sell the A4 Avant here, only the all road.

Surprisingly, I thought the ST was still a 2.5 five cylinder, didnt realise is was the 2.3 ecoboost... my mistake! Good power, i'm all for handling, being in the UK that what our roads are designed for

Mine is x-drive, but manual, however its so damn high...

Snapped some photos (I don't claim to be an awesome photographer), at least better than IG photos.

My opinion... Those wheels don't fit the car. The car itself is beautiful, especially the red, and you take away from it with those huge white rims. Just my thoughts though.

I share your opinion. A F31 Touring can look stunning in Melbourne red
But those wheels don't work for me and I suspect, for many other F31 enthusiasts on this forum. Installing after market wheels is usually the quickest way to depress the value of your car, apart from crashing it

Those wheels are not for me. I would rather keep the stock 403m 19s.

But it's your car, so good on you for enjoying it and showing it off!

The wheels look great imo. Makes your car very unique, never seen these wheels on any bmw yet. Good Work! Looking forward to seeing more pics.

Wait...So I can understand your statement let me reiterate what I think you said. I put wheels I like on my car and that means I have caused depreciation on my car? And I will crash it?

Everyone and their mother does 403m's. Plus mine didn't come with those so I couldn't have kept them. But thank you, I love the car and even if everyone hated it, I would still be in love with it. Simple 5 spoke design will never go out of style.
