Last week I got a check engine light and ran the codes and got 2A17, which is the DMTL pump. I read somewhere it might be caused by the golf tee mod, so I tried turning that part of the JB4 off and cleared codes. For several days I tried various combinations of JB4 on/off, exhaust valve open/closed.

When I leave the JB4 completely off, the code doesn't come back on. When I turn the JB4 on, whether exhaust valve is open or not, the next time I start the car the code comes back.

So, do I need a new DMTL pump or is something else wrong? Only mods I have are JB4, CP, and FMIC.

Did you datalog and checked the condition of your fuel pumps?

Hmm, well I got a 2AAF a long time ago, it's something about the low pressure fuel pump. Is that related?

I was getting a 2A13 code which is for the DMTL pump. Changed the pump and problem has not come back

OK I'm starting to get the code all the time, so I'm going to change out the part. It's #2 in this diagram right?
