All I could find was this little blurb. Hopefully someone can scan it soon.
We’ve also got news of McLaren’s successor to the 650S which is due in 2017 with a downsized six-cylinder engine, the four door 365bhp BMW M2 GranCoupé, and a hot Volkswagen Up GTI. http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/we...%80%93-out-now |

Well, according to the Autocar article, BMW have already made the decision to roll out 4 door versions of the 2 series, to include a hybrid version. It doesn't take a great leap of logic to anticipate that they will top the range off with an M2 GC. The only issue seems to be an internal debate within BMW as to whether the 2 series GC should have a hatchback.

Wait! I thought that's the way it supposed to work. We spread out the rumors and BMW builds the cars

doubt they will do that. Its like saying M4 gran coupe, if you haven't noticed as yet but they are trying to keep options to a minimum to keep production cost down.

Unlike the M2, my want for an M2 Gran Coupe is strong. BMW will have my money if they give it the M3 style fender treatment. The Golf TDI needs to be replaced within the next two years and an M2 Gran Coupe seems have all the right ingredients for 4 door usable street performance.

Oh my god yes. 4 doors, lift back, 40-20-40 rear seat? I'd change my order right now! If BMW can make a 5-series GT, they can build this, which would be an epic blend of sport, dynamics, practicality and looks. Would it even have any competitors?

IMO, this is not ever happening. At least on this generation.
Besides, 4 doors are for old people and I'm only 43 so I can only buy 2 door coupes. The 4 door thing is for my wife
