I've searched and searched but can't figure this one out....

I've got just about my dealership's last allocation for a 2016 435-xdrive on order and can't figure out if I am getting fog lights or not. I'm going to not be very happy if I've spent the money on the lighting package and not get fogs on it. I use them a lot, I drive at dawn along the foggy Delaware river, and the LED fogs and LED low beams on my '14 528 are really appreciated in spotting the abundance of wildlife that wants to die at my hands.

My dealership has a few M-sport equipped 4's and some of them have fogs and some don't. There doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason that I could make out. My CA is unsure too.

The ordering guide posted isn't much help either. It states in the notes section "ZTR and ZMP will delete STD or 100% equipment 520". I am not sure if that means ZTR (track and handling Pkg which I did NOT order) in combination with ZMP (M - which I did order) cancels out the 520 (fog lights) or if just ordering one cancels out the fogs.

When I build it online, it doesn't have fogs on the configurator, but I know sometimes it's a bit wonky anyway.

My build if it can help to figure out the fog situation. Respectfully, I am not asking for critique or opinions on my build though, I've ordered enough BMW's that I know what I want and don't want....

I have been shopping 340's and 435 GC's. When using the individual dealer websites, the photos and equipment details for individual cars seem to follow that the combination of
ZTR and ZMP delete the fog lamps.
I also remember reading a thread about this.

They're included in the track package which I didn't order, and I didn't try to order them separately so I won't have the M brakes.

All the 2016 4 series come with fog lights. They changed it for 2016 vehicles. I ordered mine and thought the same thing but did some research on the forums and found out the 2016 models come with fog lights and the auxiliary radiator that was previously available on 2014-2015 4series is no longer available on 2016 unless you purchase track hand handling package. This is super lame. I found out after I got my car and realized there's a plastic cover where the auxiliary radiator use to be

I am so glad that my 2015 doesn't have fog lights, think it looks much better just blacked out.

I agree that the front looks really great without them, clean and mean. If I didn't need to use them so much, I wouldn't want them either.

My 340 M sport without track handling has LED fogs. adding the ZTR would remove them. Not sure about 4 series is exact same or not.

so any 2017 Gran Coupe M Sport will have the fog lights so long as it doesn't have the track package? I have no idea how to get the fog lights on the Msport?

They double as the turn light...how does that work on M-sports that don't have them? No extra turn light? (guessing...never paid attention).

My '16 M-sport F32 with lighting package (no track pkg) came with LED fogs like I was hoping. The BMW configurator still deletes them in the picture and my BMW Connected app shows this car without also.

If you have Lighting Package, the fogs do not double as the cornering lamps. The cornering lamp is an extra led in the headlamp set up that shoots to the side. I am not sure what happens without Lighting Package though for cornering/reversing.

Hmm very cool. I wonder if the F32 Coupe has it, that means the F36 Gran Coupes will too?
