Project car? Think this is a fair price for this 335i manual?

Alright well I am kind of fed up with my 2008 335xi right now the fact it is automatic and it cannot even handle a E85 BEF with stock turbos (FBO). I cant find crap to upgrade these junk ZF tranmsissions and want to go 500 WHP+ but I cannot even do 440 AWHP without problems. So a 335i is a rare car in my area and have been looking around to see what I can find and came across this Sport package Premium Package coupe that could be fun to mod. Almost everything in my 335xi can be transferred to this car besides the Downpipes. These cars are rare where I live and the fact its manual its much easier putting in a high end clutch and not have to worry about the frail automatics power handling and Mechtronics unit. I would keep my 335xi as these cars are great in winter and very very safe with snow tires. This car would be more of a have fun upgrade turbos push out 500+ WHP etc car. All my other sports cars have been manual the only reason I bought this automatic is because my woman cant drive Manual and I let her drive it time to time plus its a 4 door and I have 2 kids with her plus I thought they were strong enough to handle some decent HP+ TQ. So what do you think good deal or not? Only 2 335i cars in my area this was one of them.

I'd ask for service and maintenance records.. There's no VIN to run an AutoCheck either so I'd get that checked out as well..

Get it. There are no 335i e93 mt6 cars. I have one. I've seen one other in 9 yrs of ownership. I special ordered mine. When I went to buy it new, the dealer did a national search. This is what was available on dealer lots nationally:
3,000+ new 3 series cars
300+ were 335 cars
29 of the 335 cars were e93
2 were mt6.

So of over 3000 three series cars on dealer lots, only 2 nationally were 335i e93 mt6 cars. I didn't like the option packages or paint colors on the two so I ordered mine.

My buddy just got a cherry AT 2008 335i e93 with 42k miles for $ 15,999, but the dealer messed up on the initial listing and relisted it for $18,100. Good news was they honored the original listing as we started the deal before they relisted.

So if the car is in decent condition, it's rare as hell and a steal. And you'll be lucky if you ever see another.

But ugly, no trunk, and silly rear leg room. The soft top on the convertible was the deal breaker for me.

It's a project car and he'd be keeping his e90. I don't see why you need rear leg room in a project car. And forget a vert, coupe all the way.

Power fixes weight. You'll be ablessed to get more power than you can use offsetting the weight difference all day long. And I love my vert. Use it constantly. Give it a whirl. Super rare and desirable combo.
