Parking Sensors

Sorry if repost, I searched the site but wasn't able to find any info. Has anybody attempted to install parking sensors on their car. I ran into this online: http://www.cobravehiclesecurity.co.u...d=610046341606
Can anybody chime in on any info they have. Thanks in advance.

My memory fails me at my advanced age, but I remember someone named Ron Stygar posted information on the BMW factory OE backup sensors at the Z Forum on Bimmerfest.com. You may have to do a little bit of searching around, but the part numbers and installation instructions are out there.

Not exactly the cheapest solution.

I would rather integrate a rearview camera into my DVD/Nav system.
Although I did like the back up sensors on my ///m3!

Lots of info on rearview camera installations (by Ron Stygar and others) over on Bimmerfest. It's all in a single long thread that gets an update or two every month: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...ghlight=camera
