Tires

I have a e90 n54, want to buy a set if 19x9.5 front 19x10.5 rear from a friend. What would be a good recommended tire size.. Front and rear. The car is stock but does have the m sport suspension. Thanks in advance

Warning: I provide no answers in this post, but I just may teach you to fish.

Thought #1: I don't think a 9.5" front wheel will fit on an e90. I have 9" on mine that sit flush with the fender, and they rub slightly if I hit a bump while turning. That is on a Sport suspension, so the same as yours.

Thought #2: There are 2 things to consider when sizing your tires; what tread width works well on that wheel width, and how the overall diameter compares to stock (best to keep it close). For the first one, just go to the tire manufacturer's website (or TireRack) and they will tell you the recommended range of widths for a given tire. For the second, go to the "wheels & tires" subforum, and there at the top is a handy-dandy calculator where you enter the stock wheel/tire information as well as your desired wheel/tire combination, and it gives you the size difference as well as the effects of the offset (how much more it sticks out and how much less inner clearance you have).

I did all that research and came up with wheels of 19x9.5 et33 rear & 19x9 et35 front, with tires 265/30R19 rear (I wish they were 275 but I couldn't get those at the time) and 255/30R19 front, which fit and work perfectly. Just FYI.

You can go with the below sizes:

Front Tires: 235/35/19
Rear Tires: 265/30/19

Very common application and should fit with no issues.

Depends on your offsets, body style, and year what will fit. Not enough info.
Front Tires: 235/35/19
Rear Tires: 265/30/19
Is a good option. So is
Front Tires: 245/35/19
Rear Tires: 275/30/19
