Anyone have this exhaust setup?
Hi everyone,
Looking for someone who also has the Magnaflow Touring cat-back exhaust installed on their E90 . http://www.magnaflow.com/products?partNumber=15587 One of my secondary cats has begun to rattle and I have been contemplating just hollowing out both cats instead of replacing them with new cats or resonators since the cats are literally 3" from where the cat-back is connected, would be a much quicker fix while also eliminating some restriction. I have seen others removing the secondary cats on the oem exhaust making little to no difference and I'm curious if I would have a similar outcome with and aftermarket exhaust? I'm not so worried about the exterior sound level but more concerned about the amount of drone this may cause in the interior and I can't seem to find info or videos of any kind with modifications to this particular exhaust. If anyone has this exhaust setup and has made modifications your input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Adrian |
