Whistling sound from BMW M2

Hi!

I'm in my break in period @560 km. Have this whistling sound at 2000 to 3500 rpms when pressing the gas pedal halfway in sport plus only. Is this normal?

I'm getting turbo spool under moderare/heavy acceleration. A bit louder after break-in. Seems to be coming front left side.

I am also hearing something like this in the same situatuon. What I am hearing is more of a pshhhsssss sound with almost a chirping/whistling mixed in. I hope it's not waste gate rattle. Can this engine get the dreaded wastegate rattle?

Must be the turbo. Time to recall and upgrade to much larger part.

Depends what's actually whistling and how loud it is. I had my e90 turbos replaced under warranty when they got too loud. Service dept never told me what the problem was. I suspected the bearings were worn somehow.
